We're looking for Support Workers in the Telford area, as a Support Worker you will be playing a fundamental part in improving vulnerable people's lives through the care and support that you provide. You will be supporting people who have varying needs and abilities but include;learning disabilities, complex needs and mental health conditions.

We have support work available in Telford, Shrewsbury and Oswestry, we also have additional hours available in our Domiciliary care service for those looking at overtime.

Are you the person who can support our individuals day to day to live independently in their own home whilst promoting a safe, healthy and secure living environment? Your skills will lie in your ability to interact, build relationships and support our individuals in all aspects of their daily life which could include; social events, interacting with families and friends to encourage relationships and social development.

Some of our individuals can lead and live independent lives, your support will be to help enable them to maintain their independence and live their best life. The role may include elements of personal care.

Role Highlights:

  • Various part-time shift patterns, paid by hourly block rates.
  • Some weekend and evening shifts are required on a rota basis
  • £12 per hour
  • A driving licence and access to a vehicle for work is essential
  • Work available in TF7, SY2, SY11 - if you are happy to travel across these areas; more work will be available to you.

Key Requirements:

  • Previous UK experience working with those with Learning Disabilities or as a Personal Care Assistant
  • You will be subject to a DBS/PVG check and references
  • The Right to Work in the UK
  • A driving licence and access to a vehicle for work is essential
