Sponsorship for Care Jobs

Cera can currently offer sponsorships to people on Skilled Worker Visas who are already based in the UK.

We prioritise people who:

  • Live in or are willing to relocate to one of our priority recruitment areas
  • Are a displaced worker due to their previous employer having their licence revoked
  • Have previous experience of working in Social Care in the UK
  • Hold a UK driving licence and have a vehicle for work.

Please note that due to a change in Government policy, we are currently unable to offer sponsorship to those currently outside of the UK.

There are two ways to apply for sponsorship with Cera, either as a displaced worker (your current employer has lost their licence) or as a holder of a Skilled Worker visa looking to change employers. Please read the sections below before you apply - to ensure your application is made correctly.

Displaced Workers

At Cera, we are proud to support displaced workers by offering sponsorship opportunities for eligible candidates. We understand the challenges faced by individuals who have lost their employment through no fault of their own, and we are committed to providing meaningful employment and stability through our care roles. By offering visa sponsorship, we aim to help skilled and compassionate individuals build a new future while making a real difference in the lives of those we care for across the UK.

If your previous employer lost their sponsorship licence, we will cover the full cost of your visa admin and legal fees.

Changing Employers

For individuals looking to transfer employment who require visa sponsorship, Cera may be able to help if you meet the criteria listed above.

While we welcome experienced care professionals, please note that we usually only consider applying for your sponsorship after a successful 3-month period of continuous employment with us, during this time you will need to continue working with your current employer and can work for 20 hrs with us in addition. This allows us to ensure a strong mutual fit and uphold the high standards of care our clients rely on.
