We're recruiting experienced dedicated and compassionate Care Workers to join our Specialist Services Team to provide care to our client in the Heswall/Thurstaton area (CH60).
You'll be providing care and support to a gentleman who had a brain stem stroke. You will support the gentleman with personal care, peg feeding, and moving and handling as required. The client and family are very active and like to on long walks and spend time outside, this family go on holiday often so you must be willing to support on holidays away and be able to work alternate weekends. A driving licence is essential for this role. This is a 2-1 care environment.
We currently have 3 x12 hours shifts available each week with this client.
We will provide a comprehensive clinical training and induction programme for the specific skills required, which is overseen by professional nurses, to ensure you have the skills and confidence to succeed in your role working as a Care Worker in the nurse-led team. We are looking for people who have excellent people skills, are great communicators and can work effectively in a team as well as independently.
