We're recruiting experienced, dedicated, and compassionate Care Workers to join our Specialist Services Team to provide care to our clients in and around the Basildon area.
You'll be providing care and support to a 15-year-old female who is non-verbal, whose individual needs include:
- Bilateral motor disorder - mixed spastic dystonic tone GMFCS V equivalent
- Dislocation of right hip
- Epilepsy
- Jejunostomy fed with PEG in situ
- Visual impairment
- Dependence on supplemental oxygen
- Scoliosis - awaiting spinal surgery but needs to be established on BiPAP
- Gastro-oesophageal reflux disease
- Global developmental delay - non-verbal
- Secondary osteoporosis - has commenced bisphosphonate therapy
- Buckle fracture of right ankle during routine handling (2019)
Our client likes interaction and stimulation, such as music therapy and reading stories.
Shift Patterns:
- 8:30 am - 4:00 pm every Friday
- 10:00 pm - 7:00 am every Monday and Sunday
- 11:00 am - 8:00 am during school holidays
