Discover a rewarding career as a Support Worker at our Peel Road supported living scheme in Wembley, we're recruiting carers on a bank basis supporting our clients in their own homes.
The service provides 24 hour on-site care and support in line for individuals with a range of needs. Clement Close provides care and accommodation predominantly for adults with sensory loss, and a learning and/or physical disability. Experience of working with or caring for people with Autism, learning difficulties and behavioural challenges is an advantage.
You'll be supporting people to live more independent lives, which may include personal care, accompanying them on social activities, preparing food and helping them keep their home a safe and warm environment. But your true impact lies in the companionship, reassurance, and joy you bring to the lives of those you care for.
The care worker will provide 1:1 support whilst on shift to an individual service user this would include taking him out in the community and supporting him at a day Centre (once this has been arranged) at least 4 times a week. They would need to support the client with preparing and supervising him make all his meals and cleaning up which he loves around the flat. The client would also require 1:1 support at night which obviously would be a separate shift.
Shift timings are
AM Shift is 7am until 3pm
PM Shift would be 2pm until 10pm
Night shift would be 8pm until 8am.
