We're recruiting for a dedicated and compassionate Care Worker to join our Specialist Services Team to provide care to our client in Middlesborough.

You'll be providing care and support to a child who has a Hypoxic brain injury, is nonverbal and whose individual needs include:

  • Gastrostomy
  • Epilepsy seizure management
  • Suctioning
  • Pump feeding
  • stretches and chest physio

During term time you'll be providing 1:1 Support in school and at home between 8:30am -6 pm 2 days a week (midweek). An estimated 25 hours per week are available during school holidays.

We provide a comprehensive clinical training and induction programme, overseen by professional nurses, to ensure you have the skills and confidence to succeed in your role working as a Care Worker in the Specialist Team.

We are looking for people who have excellent people skills, are great communicators and can work effectively in a team as well as independently.

We believe that homecare is a way of improving people's lives and within your role as a Care Worker you will be responsible for helping them to continue living the life they prefer to lead within their own home environment. Previous care experience is required, experience working with or caring for children with complex needs would be preferable.
