Care Assistant - Extra Care

We’re recruiting part‑time and full‑time Care Assistants in St Leonards‑on‑Sea to support clients in their own homes.

If you have previous care experience and feel ready to take a step up by supporting your colleagues, this is a great opportunity. You’ll continue delivering hands‑on care while helping new carers settle into the role, with the potential to progress into a team leader position.

Our Extra Care units are designed as Independent Living facilities, offering residents a safe and supportive environment while still giving them the freedom to come and go as they wish. Our team is there to help with day‑to‑day needs.

Your responsibilities may include personal care such as washing, dressing and continence support, managing medication, preparing hot meals, and carrying out light domestic tasks. Most importantly, you’ll provide companionship, reassurance and a sense of comfort to the people you support.

Pay & Shift Details

Day rates: £12.50 on weekdays and £12.75 on weekends.

We’re looking for both full‑time and part‑time staff. Shifts run from 7am–2pm and 4pm–10pm.
