Reporting to: Accounts Payable Manager

Contract type: Full time – Colchester / Hybrid

About the role:
We are actively looking to hire an experienced Accounts Payable Administrator looking for a new challenge. The is an exciting and wide-ranging role that will be reporting directly into the Accounts Payable Manager but will also work closely with the AP and MA teams.

The role includes:
Processing supplier invoices and purchase orders
Creating and processing supplier payment files
Reconciling supplier accounts
Logging and actioning queries from suppliers and colleagues
Processing of incoming post
Other ad hoc activities at the direction of the Accounts Payable Manager

The role would suit an ambitious professional with a passion for AP who is looking to further
their career.

What we're looking for:
Accounts Payable experience, ideally in a large organisation
Used to working collaboratively in a team
Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels in the business
Accurate, diligent and conscientious with good attention to detail
Experience using an accounting system an advantage
Build effective and credible relationships both internally and externally
Good organisational skills
Ability to work to tight deadlines
Good time management
Ability to effectively use Microsoft Excel
AAT qualified, part qualified or equivalent
GCSEs (or equivalent), including English and Maths
