Helping people into work
At Cera, we believe in the transformative power of collaboration. We recognise the importance of forging meaningful partnerships within the welfare-to-work sector to create opportunities that empower individuals and uplift communities. Through strategic alliances with employment partners, restart and back to work schemes, we strive to cultivate a diverse range of pathways for people to achieve sustainable employment and realise their full potential.
Our Approach:
1. Collaborative Networking: We actively engage with a network of employment partners, including government agencies, non-profit organizations, vocational training institutions, and private enterprises. By fostering collaborative relationships, we leverage collective expertise and resources to address the multifaceted challenges faced by job seekers.
**2. Holistic Support: **Our partnerships extend beyond job placements. We have worked directly with our partners to create bespoke learning academy courses and we regularly atttend networking events, job fairs and careers talk opportunities via our partners to highlight the benefits of working in Social Care and with Cera.
10% of newly recruited staff are hired via Back to Work Scheme partners and 25% of newly recruited staff were previously unemployed.

Mark's Story
Mark Allen, works as a carer for Cera at our Colwyn Bay Branch, providing at-home care. He lost both his legs to diabetes and had to leave his previous job due to his health issues and was out of work for 20 years, but now loves his new job.
We worked with our partner Maximus to ensure that Mark could return to work with all the support he required, including arranging care for his Father in Law who he was supporting at home. He now works with us part time, caring for 7-8 people each day.
