Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Operations Manager to oversee our complex care services. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality care delivery, compliance with regulatory standards, and operational efficiency. This role requires a strong leader with excellent organisational and communication skills, capable of managing teams and driving service excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and support the Complex Care Managers with the daily operations of complex care services, ensuring high standards of care and regulatory compliance.

  • Lead and nurture the branches ensuring training, supervision, and development is completed.

  • Ensure compliance with CQC standards, policies, and procedures.

  • Play a part in managing budgets and resources effectively to ensure cost-efficient service delivery.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and maintain a culture of excellence.

  • Support with handling complaints, incidents, and safeguarding concerns in a professional and timely manner.

  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders and healthcare professionals.

  • To provide regular feedback to the Clinical Director.

  • To update and liaise with our internal recruitment teams to ensure the headcount is on target.

Essential Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an Operations role or similar leadership role within complex care, healthcare, or domiciliary care.

  • Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills

  • Experience in handling complex cases and crisis management.
  • Ability to work under pressure, solve problems, and make effective decisions.
  • Budget management and resource allocation experience.

  • Full UK driving license and willingness to travel as required.

Desirable:

  • Preferably a relevant health and social care qualification (NVQ Level 5 or equivalent).

  • Experience in business development and service expansion.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to implement new initiatives effectively

  • Knowledge of digital care management systems and technology in healthcare.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data to drive operational improvements.
