Female Complex Care Assistant

We're recruiting experienced dedicated and compassionate Care Workers to join our nurse-led team at Cera to provide care to our clients in and around the Basildon (SS16) area.

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate care professional to support a wonderful young girl with Cornelia de Lange Syndrome. Living at home under a supportive family, she loves to engage with others and enjoys walking while holding hands. This role involves sitting alongside her to guide her through her daily routines, including attending school with her. The ideal candidate will value open communication and seamlessly adapt to a close-knit family environment. :

• Airway Support: Tracheostomy care, suctioning, and nebulizer medication management.
• Nutrition & Hydration: PEG management, including administering both pump and bolus feeds.

Shifts include

• Every Thursday and Friday from 8am to 4pm (term time only)
• Availability to also pick shifts to support any annual leave - Monday to Friday

We provide a comprehensive clinical training and induction programme, overseen by professional nurses, to ensure you have the skills and confidence to succeed in your role working as a Care Worker in the Specialist Team. We are looking for people who have excellent people skills, are great communicators and can work effectively in a team as well as independently.

• Previous experience
• You will be subject to a DBS/PVG check and references
