We're looking for kind-hearted people to join us at Cera as Professional Care Assistants in Plymouth and surrounding areas on our Waking Nights crisis response care rounds.
The Crisis response team work on a shift basis of 9pm to 7am, you are on standby and will respond to incoming urgent care calls, this covers a wide area from Plymouth to Kingsbridge and therefore a car is essential. You will be paid for the full shift, including any standby hours where no calls take place. You will need to be available on short notice and be flexible with your availability including some weekend nights. You will need to be comfortable with personal care and be able to remain calm in stressful situations.
To join us as a Care Assistant, you don't need any previous experience. It may be that you have cared for a vulnerable loved one, experienced a personal loss or be a charitable person that is always looking to help others. That kind of experience gives you rare skills - compassion, understanding and patience.
So, if you tick these boxes and are looking for a secure part-time or full-time job, you've got everything you need to start training as a Professional Care Worker with us and start or continue your social care career.
