Female Care Assistant

To be eligible you’ll need good general availability, a driving licence, access to a car, and the willingness to travel across our service area when needed. We always aim to keep travel time to a minimum. You can also boost your income through overtime or by referring friends — earning up to £500 per referral.
We’re recruiting part‑time and full‑time Care Assistants to support clients in their own homes. We have work available in Penrith, Stainton, Mungrisdale, Glenridding, Patterdale and the surrounding areas. A driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential. We offer flexible shift patterns, including mornings, days, evenings and nights, and you’ll usually have every other weekend off.

In Scotland, all care staff must register with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC). You will need to maintain your registration and complete your annual renewal. You must also work towards your SVQ2, which Cera will fund, although the SVQ registration fee is payable by the employee.
