Care Assistant
myCare Aberdeen are recruiting caring Care Workers, Support Workers and Care Assistants across Montrose and the surrounding areas. We offer full-time, part-time, evenings-only and weekends-only roles. We can be flexible around your availability, but we do ask for regular commitment to our customers.
At myCare, we provide practical support to vulnerable people within our communities. You will assist with daily tasks such as meal preparation, personal care, medication support and cleaning.
Previous experience is not required, as full, comprehensive in-house training and support will be provided. However, any prior care experience is always helpful.
Main duties include:
- Motivating clients to get the most out of their day
- Administering medication
- Assisting clients with washing, dressing and other personal care
- Shopping
- Housekeeping
- Meal preparation

In Scotland, all care staff must register with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC). You must maintain your registration and complete your annual renewal. You must also work towards your SVQ2, which Cera will fund; however, the SVQ registration fee is payable by the employee.
