Female Complex Care Support Worker

We're recruiting dedicated and compassionate Female Complex Care Support Workers to join our Specialist Services Team to provide care to our client in the Dundee area.

You'll be providing care and support to our female client with complex medical needs and conditions. The client has Congenital Myotonic Dystrophy and Neuromuscular Scoliosis. The client is non-verbal but can communicate in her own unique way and is very sociable. She enjoys having the opportunity to go out and do something fun. She is looking for like-minded people who are very caring and can add to her life but provide the fundamental care she needs, allowing her to live as independently as she can in her own home and being able to enjoy activities and interacting with others.

Individual needs include:

• Assistance with all aspects of daily living
• Personal care
• Medication administration
• All aspects of Tracheotomy care and suctioning
• Ventilation
• Gastro-jejunal tube fitted for feeding and medication administration

Working Hours:

We have several vacancies for both day shifts and waking nights, 7 days per week. Days: 8am - 8pm, nights 8pm - 8am.

We provide a comprehensive clinical training and induction programme, overseen by professional nurses, to ensure you have the skills and confidence to succeed in your role working as a Care Worker in the Specialist Team.

We are looking for people who have excellent people skills, are great communicators and can work effectively in a team as well as independently.

• Previous experience advantageous but all training given, willingness to learn new skills and commitment to the role is essential
