The daily running of a home can be difficult at times, which can be made harder when a person is elderly or requires care. Our carers are able to provide help with a range of household activities, from cleaning to gardening, to ensuring your loved one is comfortable at all times.
Our carers help our clients maintain their independence by assisting with a number of daily tasks, which can often be affected when living with a long-term illness or a lack of mobility. These include getting changed for the day and going to the toilet.
Taking medication at the right time is a daily reality for many elderly people, and those that require care. Our carers are on hand to prompt our clients to take their medication and they are also trained and fully-qualified to administer it. Each carer can even provide diet and exercise plans to ensure your loved one is looking after themselves.
As well as offering expert home care we also help to provide companionship and emotional support by encouraging those in our care to socialise as much as possible. Our carers also speak a variety of languages as well as English, including Romanian, French, and Polish.

Taking care of a loved one can be extremely hard work, especially if they suffer from a long-term illness, disability or lack of mobility. Our respite care service ensures our expert carers can step in without disrupting any established routines, so you can rest and recuperate.
Central to our approach to care is that we provide tailored care from the comfortable surroundings of our clients’ own homes. Because of this, we don’t have a one-size-fits all approach to care – all our carers are matched to our clients due to the needs of the client and the capability and skills of the carer. Due to this tailored approach to care, our exact costs can vary. Learn more about the cost of home care with Cera.
The level of service we provide to our clients is award-winning.
We make sure that we only employ the top 10% of carers that apply to work for us. This means that all of our carers are highly-professional and expertly-trained.
We also have an extremely rigorous selection process. Each prospective carer must have at least five years’ experience in a professional domiciliary setting and must undergo rigorous training before they are matched to our clients. We make sure we always run detailed background checks that are in line with industry-wide vetting practice.
Once our clients sign up to use our service they will be provided with a dedicated Cera Care manager who will always be available 24-hours a day to deal with any queries or problems that they may have.
