This may be through services such as home help or companionship but can also include complex healthcare support for people with conditions such as dementia, Alzheimer’s, multiple sclerosis and even spinal injuries.
The Cera team is dedicated to making sure that all of our clients can enjoy the quality of life they deserve so that they can stay in the comfort of their own homes for as long as possible. Each member of the Cera team has the knowledge, skills and experience to offer the very best care, as well as to assist with socialising and to provide essential companionship.
Those in our care will be provided with essential help when it comes to managing their day-to-day activities. From cleaning and tidying to gardening, our home carers will be there to help with those everyday household tasks.
Our care team do everything they can to enable those in their care to remain as independent as possible. They are always on hand to ensure that any lack of mobility or ill health doesn’t hinder everyday tasks; such as getting dressed for the day.
It’s important for those receiving care at home to stick to established routines and schedules. This includes ensuring medication is taken daily – all of our specially trained and professional carers are qualified to administer medication. Each carer can also advise on healthy eating, and devise diet plans.
Each of our carers have the knowledge, expertise and experience to provide tailored support for our clients. It is also essential that they can provide both mental and emotional support to encourage the independence of those in their care.

Anyone suffering from a progressive illness should never feel like burden on their family or loved ones. Our palliative care service makes sure this is never the case. Each of our carers is trained to ensure our clients feel comfortable in their own home, while enhancing their quality of life.
Our dementia care services are designed to help our clients feel comfortable at all times. With specialist carers on hand, anyone suffering with dementia will be able to stay in their own home for as long as possible.
After a stay in hospital, whether following treatment for an illness or after an operation, you’ll want to ensure your loved one is safe when they are back in their own home. Our carers help to make it a smooth return by putting all the essential steps in place before they come home and ensuring everything runs properly once they’re back.

The home and live-in care services provided by Cera in Leicester and around the UK are award winning.
We’ve been recognised for the services we offer and the way we cater for our clients. One of the ways we do this is by only working with the very best carers and private nurses.
We only employ the top 10% of carer applicants, so we can guarantee that we only work with specialist carers that are highly-professional and expertly trained.
We also implement an extremely rigorous selection process. Before any carers are placed with our clients they go through detailed training. We insist that they have at least five years’ previous experience in a professional domiciliary setting. We also ensure that we run background checks on all prospective carers to make sure we are compliant with industry wide-vetting practice.
Each of our clients will also have a dedicated Cera Care manager who will be available 24 hours a day.
The first thing to note is that we provide a variety of home and live-in care services in Leicester and the surrounding areas including domiciliary care, respite care, dementia care, and palliative care.
If you want to find out about how we may be able to help care for your loved one to make sure they can stay at home, the first stage is to complete an enquiry with us. We will then arrange for a registered nurse to run a consultation to help define the exact needs of that person requiring care. This gives us the best chance of providing a service that’s tailored to that individual.
Once this has taken place, you then get the opportunity to look through our list of experienced carers. You can then make your choice to find a carer that you feel comfortable can look after your loved one in the best possible way.
