We are looking for a Live-In Support Worker (Male) for our client in the Tamworth area (B77), our client has Autism and epilepsy resulting in a requirement for a support worker to help him lead a more independent life.
Our Client says: “I am a young man in my 30's with Autism. Ideally, I would like a support worker who has a sense of fun and likes walking as I walk to town on a daily basis. I like to go on outings and have a mobility car, so would like my support worker to have a driving licence to be able to drive my car. My preference would be for you to have experience with LD and Autism and be willing to learn Makaton and have an understanding of Dols. I am unable to cook, so my carer would need to support me with meal preparation and cooking. I like to watch television and may have verbal outbursts, however, this is part of my Autism“
