We're recruiting dedicated and compassionate Care Workers to join our Specialist Services Team, providing dental hygiene support to our client who has complex needs in the Bradford, Leeds area (BD11).
Are you a real-life Tooth Fairy? You'll be supporting an adult male with his daily teeth-brushing routine and personal care tasks. This individual has Muscular Atrophy and already has a full-time PA and family support at home. Due to various sensory and mental health/anxiety issues the tooth brushing routine has become a time-consuming task and requires someone to provide dedicated support, patience and understanding of the situation.
This role is part-time and the shifts are evening shifts as follows:
We provide a comprehensive clinical training and induction programme, overseen by professional nurses, to ensure you have the skills and confidence to succeed in your role working as a Care Worker in the Specialist Team.
We are looking for people who have excellent people skills, are great communicators and can work effectively in a team as well as independently.
We believe that homecare is a way of improving people's lives and within your role as a Care Worker you will be responsible for helping them to continue living the life they prefer to lead within their own home environment. Previous caring experience is required.
