Cera is a leading provider of home-based care and support services for older and vulnerable people. We are a tech-enabled, tech-driven company and are unique in terms of the way we operate. We care passionately about the quality of our services and look after our colleagues.

  • Support Carer roles - providing support services to help older and vulnerable people remain safe and independent in their own homes (e.g. grocery shopping).
  • Professional Carer roles - providing regulated care for older people and those living with disability and other health conditions in their own homes. This may include personal care and assistance with aspects of daily living such as eating, drinking and medication.
  • Coordinator roles - scheduling care services, calls and visits for our customers. Dealing with queries and providing advice and support to Support and Professional Carers and customers.
  • Supervisors - assessing and reviewing customers and providing leadership to Support and Professional Carers.

We pay above the industry average. Depending on the position you will be paid up to £600 per week.

You could be working in as little as 10 days. 

As soon as you are Cera Certified; you have completed your online training, pre-employment checks and have been validated. 

Professional Carers delivering regulated care will be provided with comprehensive online training and will be awarded Cera Care Plus Certification evidencing your status as a professional care worker. 

Support Carers delivering unregulated support will be provided with online training and will be awarded Cera Support Competency Certification evidencing your status as a verified support worker.

Cera offers unique online training for all new colleagues, topics include:

  • Values-based care
  • Safeguarding yourself and our users
  • Data protection
  • Moving and handling
  • Mental capacity and decision making

Cera offers continual learning and development opportunities and we are committed to helping you to grow and develop in your role as well as towards future career progression.

At Cera you are never alone, our unique App provides you with guidance on how best to care for our customers. Wherever you are there will be support available to you at the end of the phone, whether it’s 10 am or 10 pm - we are here for you to make sure you provide the very best care and support to our customers.

Cera will be your employer. We have a range of contracts from flexible to full time.

For certain roles self-employed work will be possible.

We take the health and wellbeing of our colleagues and customers incredibly seriously. You will be provided with the advice and equipment (e.g. masks, gloves, aprons) you need to stay safe and protect our customers at this incredibly challenging time.
